NSW:New Year's Eve reveller's leg impaled
A New Year's Eve reveller has been taken to hospital with a fence post in his leg after
being impaled on it just before the midnight fireworks show in Sydney.
Police say the man, aged in his 20s, had been heavily intoxicated when he tried to
jump the fence at Shakespeare Place in Sydney's Botanic Gardens.
